Walk: Historic Borrego Walkabout

ABDNHA Parking Lot 652 Palm Canyon Drive, Borrego Springs

Curious about the story of Borrego Springs, from its historic beginnings to today? Enjoy a walk around the town while hearing about the people, places, and buildings of this tiny desert town that we love. We will start at ABDNHA and cover roughly 1.5 miles, all on flat terrain. Wear comfortable walking shoes and a good sun hat, and bring water. No charge, but registration required. Call or visit the Nature Center at 760-767-3098 to reserve.

The Borrego Botany Club will kick off the desert season with a meeting and lecture on Saturday in the ABDNHA Library. Everyone is invited. If you are interested in desert plants, then the Botany Club is the place to be. This is an informal gathering. Don Rideout will explain the Botany Club and provide an overview of the meetings and field trips for this desert season. Open to all. No charge.
