Chinchweed

Like goldfields and Wallace’s woolly daisy, chinchweed covers the ground with carpets of yellow flowers. One difference is that chinchweed, if you gently touch it, leaves an aroma, perhaps of citrus, on your fingers. Look for chinchweed to appear in sandy places following a summer rain.
