Enjoy an early Thanksgiving Day birding walk! Although the golf course at the Borrego Springs Resort is closed, its water features survive, attracting a wide variety of birds. We will look for Hooded Merganser, Ruddy Duck, Green Heron, Black-crowned Night Heron, and many others. 1.5 mi, no elevation gain, easy trail. Meet in the ABDNHA parking lot by 7:50 a.m. Bring snacks, binoculars, water. Call 760-767-3098 to reserve. Limit 10.
