Poodle-Dog Bush or Sticky Nama

Caution: If touched, the tall poodle-dog bush, with attractive flowers in late spring and summer, may cause a skin rash that can last up to two weeks. Also known as sticky nama, it is found in the chaparral vegetation of mountain areas above the desert. It appears for several years following a fire.
