In Anza-Borrego, the tiny Wallace's Woolly Daisy grows low to the ground in the desert and transition zones. To see the stem, it may be necessary to get down on one knee and gently bend the flower aside. The stems have a chunky appearance and are hairy, or woolly. Flowers maybe yellow or white.
