Agua Caliente is a San Diego County Regional Park in the mountains west of County Road S-2. Although best known for its geothermally heated springs, it is a good, if large, campground with many nearby trails for hiking. It makes a good base for exploring other parts of Anza-Borrego in the area. Agua Caliente is open September through May.
