Ocotillo, California, is a very small town, but an important one for people who frequent the southern desert. It is the only place for several miles in any direction where you can buy gas, groceries, or enjoy a restaurant meal. Interstate-8 and County Road S-2 run through it. Highway 98 runs south of it.
