Horse Canyon

There once were Mountain Cahuilla villages in and around Horse Canyon, and you can see why. It's a beautiful place, it is within easy reach of a food supply, and there are routes to other village locations in all directions.

Nance Canyon is one of three canyons that combine to form Coyote Canyon at Turkey Track. The others are Nance Canyon from the northwest and Tule Canyon from the west.

It can be reached from Turkey Track. A scenic Anza-Borrego Desert State Park trail from the Table Mountain Truck Trail can be hiked.
