This popular drive (4WD only) begins in the San Ysidro Mountains where there are spectacular desert views before the trail descends into Grapevine Canyon where it passes Stuart Spring, the former Indian village at Angelina Spring, and an area noted for spring wildflowers before reaching Highway 78.
